The Wedding Day
The preceding week had been the hottest of the day so far, but true to English weather changeability, the day of the wedding dawned just a little overcast but it was still warm. On arrival at the Bridal Suite, all the bridesmaids (5), one of the young flower girls and the bride were all undergoing various stages of hair and makeup. And so it was a cosy gathering!
Before the ceremony was to take place we gathered the groom and his band of ‘merry’ groomsmen (we had to tear them away from their pint…), to create some fun pre-wedding photographs, that the men (read boys), would like!
Back with the ladies getting ready, and as is the way with a wedding day, one minute there is loads of time and all of a sudden it’s time to get to the ceremony. Jo looked divine in her dress with a flowing train, and the bridesmaids in their gold dresses and young flower girls in the prettiest of frocks completed the Brides party.
Immediately after the ceremony, and Jo and Adam are whisked away in a golf buggy, champagne in hand for their first portraits as husband and wife. Up on the Fifth Tee for a beautiful view over miles of English countryside, followed by a second stop for another gorgeous photography opportunity.
Jo and Adam’s love of films was evidently a major theme for their wedding day, with tables named ‘The Hangover”, …. The wedding cake looked (and smelled amazing).
