We’ve known Vickie and her two boys for a number of years now and so were delighted when she asked us to take some new family photographs. As is often the case there is always one person not in the family photographs and this is because they are behind the camera! This was Vickie’s thinking and she wanted family photographs with all of them in and then to create a selection of framed images for her wall at home.
After considering various options for the location for a family photography session, we decided to stay on our home turf and hold the photo shoot on the Elvetham Heath Nature Reserve in Fleet. It’s a great spot for children and family photography with the lovely trees, bushes and the beautiful pond often frequented by swans.
Have carried out a ‘recce’ a few days before to gather a few ideas, we were over the moon to find a grand old tree that would be a beautiful frame for some of the family photographs. As well as some formal shots here we also captured some fun images and the boys being boys couldn’t help but want to climb the tree!
It was such a fun session and we’re really pleased with the pictures. I hope you will enjoy looking at them, some of our favourites from our children and family photography session in Fleet, Hampshire GU51.
